Event Description
Are you looking for a way to get in shape for the summer, all while donating money to charity? Yeah, we know you are. Get ready to shed that winter shell during the TempoRun Charity 5k event on April 21! All profits will be going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund.
Early registration has passed. You can still sign up online for $20 or the day of for $25 but t-shirts will now be limited.
What is TempoRun?
TempoRun is a new app created by five MSU students that allows users to always run to the tempo of their music. Our unique technology scans all the music on your smartphone and categorizes each song into specific levels, 1-10, based on tempo. So, when running a certain tempo level, every song will be the same exact tempo and you can match your running pace to this tempo to create a more enjoyable and consistent run! Registration: 8:00-8:45 am
Race Begins: 9:00 am
Where?
The event will begin and end at Conrad Hall. We have chosen a very exciting route that takes you through all the most beautiful parts of campus! There will be complimentary water stationed at the beginning, middle, and end of the race.
On behalf of the TempoRun team, thank you so much for the support! We would not be where we are now if it weren’t for the amazing MSU community. TempoRun will be launching during the first week of May, so be on the lookout!
